Not to loose pace after the 1st congress in September 2011, ten globally distributed work groups were created in October 2011. The idea was to nourish ongoing discussions and to make the next congress program along the way. As leaders of these workgroups we choose ten stipulated high class keynote speakers, for ten new main topics in the prgram. Their mission was to debate the actual topic with internationally recognized colleagues and to suggest 4-5 lecture titles with connected speakers before Nov 25th 2012. The ten program session were all created in this way. We believe that the ongoing discussions between the meetings are as important as the congress itself. The creation of these workgroups is our contribution to the development in the area of surgical training.
