We plan to send out the 1st Announcement and Call for Abstracts in June 2012.
Paper copies of the 100 page Surgicon Congress Book 2011 with all summaries can be
ordered by sending an email to congress@surgicon.org
The work with the coming congress is ongoing, and the first preliminary
program will be published after the summer season.

After the genuine success of the first Surgicon Congress, the work has already started
to create the program for next meeting on June 17-19, 2013. To do this is we have
initiated 10 international and interdisciplinary work groups, that will report their results
at the next meeting.
The goal is to follow-up the first congress in a logical way, continuing the discussions and
the dialogue about surgical curriculums and surgical training methods in modern surgery.
Human anatomy and questions about surgical skills are quite the same globally, why we intend
to find common pathways and principles when educating surgeons efficiently.
Our intention is to create a new meeting filled with excellent lectures, held by highly qualified
and deeply engaged lecturers.
